Pursuant to Las Cruces Municipal Code, the minimum wage in the city limits of Las Cruces increased to $10.25 per hour on January 1, 2020.
The tipped minimum wage is now $4.10 per hour, which is 40% of the new minimum wage as stated in the ordinance.
Under the ordinance, Section 14-63. NOTICE, POSTING AND RECORDS, “Notice to Employees. Every employer shall post in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site where any employee works a notice published each year by the City or its designee informing employees of the current minimum wage rate and of their rights under this ordinance. Every employer shall post such notices in English and Spanish.”
