It was a progressive sweep in yesterday’s city council elections. Gill Sorg held off Steve Montanez and William Fuller in district 5 to win his third term to the council, Gabe Vasquez defeated Bev Courtney in district 3 and Yvonne Flores defeated incumbent Ceil Levatino in district 6.
