Love the planet? Earth Week speakers can inspire you with easy ways to be environmentally friendly! Keep Doña Ana County Beautiful (KDACB) introduces “Las Cruces Chats” at the Doña Ana County Government Center 845 N. Motel Blvd. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday of Earth Week.
Irene Holguin, KDACB Coordinator, explains, “It’s about sharing ways to care for our planet with our community. We’ve created Las Cruces Chats and other activities during this Earth Day Week to let residents know how they can easily positively affect the environment where we all live.”

SATURDAY April 22nd EARTH DAY FAIR – City of Las Cruces’ first Zero Waste Event - 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Plaza de Las Cruces on Main Street, also free and open to the public. City of Las Cruces Sustainability Officer Lisa LaRocque says, “Expect lots of entertainment, dancing and drumming, food vendors, and the fabulously popular Reuse and Recycle Fashion Show. This is the birthday celebration for the planet!”
