Demand for passports has been on the rise.
The El Paso Passport Agency is hosting a Passport Day at its agency on 303 N. Oregon Street in the Mills Building on Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Citizens may apply for a passport on a Saturday without an appointment.
They will need:
Application (download this on www.travel.state.gov)
Proof of U.S. Citizenship in the form of a U.S. Birth Certificate, Naturalization Certificate or Consular Report of Birth Abroad
A valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, military ID)
One passport-sized color photo taken in the past six months
Payment in the form of check, money order, credit or debit card
There are special requirements for minors. See www.travel.state.gov for requirements for minor applicants age 15 and under
