Las Cruces, NM – On this edition of PUENTES a la comunidad, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra spoke with local author, Mary Armstrong, about her first book: “The Mesilla: The Two Valleys Saga: Book One,” a historical fictional memoir about the ten years leading to the notorious and unsolved Fountain murders. It is largely based on modern published accounts and historical newspaper reports.

Idaho Ave., Las Cruces and on Amazon. In support of local authors, “The Las Cruces Writer’s Group” will host a Book Signing Wednesday, July 21st from 4-7 p.m. at The Courtyard Marriott, 456 E. University Ave., Las Cruces, with local authors: Mary Armstrong; Rachel Glickler; George Pintar; Gerald Otis and David H. Osterbout. Their books will be available for purchase and autographing.
