Las Cruces, NM – On this edition of PUENTES a la comunidad, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra met with Border Servant Corps Executive Director, Kari Lenander, and Site Coordinator, Silvia Dorado, to talk about “Celebrando Las Ámericas.” It’s a “Family Fiesta” featuring books, art, food and music in collaboration with Casa Camino Real Bookstore and Libros Para el Viaje/Books for the Journey. The FREE event will take place Saturday, August 31st at Peace Lutheran Church, 1701 E. Missouri Avenue in Las Cruces, NM beginning at 9 a.m. with a pop-up book sale and an all-day silent auction.
