The City of El Paso Water Parks is diving into hiring season with a Lifeguard Job Fair at Lost Kingdom Water Park on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will focus on recruiting lifeguards, with on-the-spot hiring available for qualified applicants.

Those interested in applying must bring two forms of identification. Applicants under the age of 18 may be hired at the event, while applicants 18 and older will be required to pass a background check before final hire.

All lifeguard applicants should arrive ready to begin the swim test upon arrival. The required Lifeguard Pre-Requisite Swim Test includes:
• 200-meter swim
• Two-minute tread
• Retrieval of a 10-pound brick from 12.5 feet of water

Candidates who successfully pass the swim test and, if applicable, clear the background check, may be hired on the spot. El Paso Water Parks encourages strong swimmers who are responsible, energetic, and ready to make a difference this summer to take advantage of this opportunity.
