Join the Karan Casey Trio--singer/songwriter Karan Casey, guitarist Seán Óg, and fiddler/singer Niamh Dunne--for an evening of world-class Celtic music.

Irish folk singer and songwriter Karan Casey, founding vocalist for Irish supergroup Solas, shares her love of ballads, yarns, love songs, and searing versions of social justice songs with audiences worldwide. In 2018, Karan helped found FairPlé, an organization aimed at achieving fairness and gender balance for female performers in Irish traditional and folk music.

Tickets are on a pay-as-you-can scale from $15-30.

This event is part of the "Songs, Stories, and Social Good" performance series, hosted in cooperation between Cruces Creatives, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Las Cruces, and other local partners. The mission of the performance series is to have each performance both support the arts in Las Cruces (by bringing global performers to the city or by showcasing local talent) and serve a “social good” theme that advances other charitable missions. The social good theme for this event is women's rights.
