Free Screening of "Twice Colonized”
This film documents a very personal view of colonization and it's impact on every aspect of the lives of the colonized. Greenland Inuit lawyer Aaju tells of her experiences from being sent away to school in Denmark to the struggles throughout her life to reclaim her language and culture. The stories of her struggles reflect those of so many people here in the Southwest who have worked tirelessly to preserve or reclaim their own language and culture while healing the wounds of colonization.
