The Friends of the Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site (TMHS) is having a reception for local artist Rosemary McLoughlin from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21 at The Barela Store, 2340 Calle Principal on the Mesilla Plaza. The reception is free and open to the public. Cards and prints from McLoughlin's artwork will be for sale. All proceeds from the store is to support the preservation and programs at the historic site. The Barela Store which opened in November 2025, is operated by volunteers from the Friends of TMHS, a nonprofit organization. For more information, email TheBarelaStore@gmail.com.
