The Academy for Learning in Retirement's four-part March series will discuss “State and Local Government.” Our first presenter on Tuesday, March 5 will be State Senator Bill Soules. He will discuss “The Sausage Factory: How the NM Legislature Does and Does Not Work.” Senator Soules will give a live presentation at the Doña Ana Community College – East Mesa auditorium that will also be available as a Zoom broadcast. There will be free cookies and coffee before his presentation in the nearby Student Resources Building.

Audience members may register for the Academy for Learning in Retirement’s four March sessions or for all 20 ALR Spring presentations by searching on the Web for DACC_ALR. People may also register with cash or checks at the door. ALR will send Zoom links to registrants on the evening before each presentation. Registrants may attend at the auditorium or may log in after 10:00 a.m. MST and each presentation will begin at 10:30 a.m. MST. Free coffee and cookies will be available from 9:45 to 10:15 a.m.
