Light Art Space is pleased to present the exhibition: Border to Border, Stephan Höglund New Works.
Flash Gallery Photography and Jewelry
Dates of exhibition: March 1 – April 1Reception: Friday, March 1, 5 pm – 7 pm
Stephan’s work comes from a sense of place or more accurately, places. Gleaming both inspirations as well as surface found material of his region. He considers himself a "Regionalist just as the Canadian "Group of Seven" or even Emily Carr or Georgia O’Keefe did. Northern Minnesota is where it first began and he now continues in the open High Mesa and High Desert of Southwest New Mexico near Silver City. These places not only have been the source of the materials in much of the work but also seem to sustain a creative and spiritual roadmap.
