Handel's "Messiah" by NMHU and NMPAS
The holiday season is starting early this year with a special free performance of George Frideric Handel’s oratorio, Messiah, in early November at the New Mexico Highlands University campus.
Audiences are invited to the Ilfeld Auditorium on Nov. 3 at 4 PM for the combined performance featuring students and professional musicians. The performance will honor André García-Nuthmann, NMHU professor of voice, as he prepares to retire from the university.
