Gila Wilderness Centennial Celebration: A Black Range Poetry & Pickin' Festival
Celebrating 100 years of the Gila Wilderness with poetry and song, the Black Range Lodge in Kingston is hosting a free community gathering Saturday June 1st from 4 to 9pm, and Sunday, June 2nd, from 12 noon to 4pm. Featuring singer/songwriter John Coinman with Blair Forward, poetry from award-winning poets of the NM Poetry Anthology, the Black Cat Poets from Truth or Consequences, the Hillsboro Pickin' Circle, and more, plus food and beverages from Black Range Vineyards, books and art, all in the cool shade of Kingston, NM. Also tour the Historic Percha Bank and Gallery, and the new Kingston Ghost Town Museum, 10am to 4pm.
