Fort Stanton Living History: Celebrate Our Armed Forces
Join Fort Stanton Historic Site on the second Saturday of the month from April to September to see history come alive! With regular admission, visitors can enjoy themed days that celebrate the history of the Fort. Special activities include exclusive tours, children’s craft projects, demonstrations, and more. Celebrate our armed forces this month. Admission is $7/adult and free to children 16 and younger.
Schedule of Activities: 10 AM: Living History begins; 11:30 AM: Tour of the Old Army Cemetery; 11:30 AM- 12:45 PM: Vintage Games; 12:45-1:45 PM: Lunch break for Living History actors; 12:45-1:45 PM: Talk by Eddie Crane about Healing America’s Heroes, an organization that helps Veterans and First Responders with PTSD through recreational and horse therapy. After the talk Eddie invites people to tour Healing America’s Heroes, which is located at Fort Stanton; 3 PM: Living History ends
