At this Book Buddies event, Ranger Sage read the book "Paco and the Giant Chile Plant" by Keith Polette in the craft room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library (200 E. Picacho Ave., Las Cruces, NM, 88001). This story is a fun, southwestern twist on “Jack and the Giant Beanstalk.” After reading Paco and the Giant Chile Plant, you will be able to decorate your own paper chile to add to the community plant that will be displayed in the Reynolds Store Visitor Center in Mesilla!
