Lisa Van Winkle, flute and Justin Badgerow, piano will present an All American program for flute and piano and solo piano with music by Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Samuel Barber, Daniel Dorff, Eldin Burton, and Jake Heggie. Dr. Badgerow is a featured guest artist, performing Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue for solo piano celebrating the 100th anniversary of the work's composition in 1924. This is the final performance for Dr. Lisa Van Winkle as a member of the NMSU Music Faculty as she celebrates her retirement this spring.
