Apodaca Blueprint Design Workshops Underway In Las Cruces

 

Las Cruces residents, property owners, and business owners are invited to participate in a community design workshop this week to promote reinvestment in the neighborhoods between Apodaca Park and Interstate 25.

Workshop activities will explore possible land use and development options on the former Las Cruces Country Club property, City-owned property at the intersection of Madrid Avenue and Triviz Avenue, and other key locations in the Apodaca Blueprint planning area identified during the workshop.

There are no formal presentations today and tomorrow, these are drop-in sessions. The Thursday event is a formal presentation. Key evening activities include:

  • Technical Issues Workshop, American Legion Post #10, 1185 E. Madrid Ave., 6-7:30 p.m.Tuesday, Jan. 9.
  • Preliminary Concepts Workshop, Branigan Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10
  • Final Presentation, Branigan Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11.
