FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) — Police in Farmington say the body of a woman found in a park last week has been identified as an Arizona resident.
They announced Monday the body was that of 29-year-old Vanessa Tsosie of Red Valley, Arizona.
Police say they are investigating the case as a homicide.
Officers were dispatched on the morning of Nov. 5 about an injured female lying in Brook Haven Park West.
They arrived and found the woman was dead and police say signs of trauma were present on the body.
