The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One office with Hasse Contracting Company, Inc. will continue with bridge preservation work at various bridges within the Las Cruces/Dona Ana area. The bridge work will consist of cleaning the existing bridge deck surfaces with a shot blast machine, applying a liquid sealant on the bridge decks, and then placing traffic makers.
The contractor is scheduled to start on the following routes:
- I-10/Westbound and Eastbound to I-25 Northbound and Southbound (mile marker 144.37) on Wednesday, August 27th with lane and speed restriction posted until the end of business each day through Thursday, August 29th.
- US 70/Picacho Avenue over the Rio Grande (mile marker 145.15) on Tuesday, September 2nd with lane and speed restrictions posted until the end of business each day through Wednesday, September 3rd.
- I-10 Eastbound over the Rio Grande (mile marker 138.06) on Thursday, September 4th with land and speed restrictions posted until the end of business each day through Friday, September 5th.
