New Mexico – SANTA FE, N.M. (KRWG) Gov. Susana Martinez is urging New Mexico State employees to participate in a "Dollars for Disaster" campaign.
The campaign will raise money for the American Red Cross, which helped the state with evacuations and other emergency operations during recent devastating wildfires.
Designated individuals in every state agency will be taking donations on Tuesday. Participation is voluntary. But Martinez said the campaign is a good way to ensure that the Red Cross will be there to help in the future.
