El Paso – A 2011 calendar that features Fort Bliss personnel is meant to remember a West Texas soldier killed in 2004 in Iraq.
The calendar unveiled Thursday night in El Paso helps honor the memory of Sgt. Isela Rubalcava.
The El Paso Times reported Friday that the 1996 Canutillo High School graduate was a supply technician when enemy mortar rounds were fired at her base and she was killed.
A scholarship fund honoring Rubalcava will benefit from the first Show of Force Calendar, which features 12 male service members
One model, Master Sgt. Kris Cook, says it's "a great way to honor a fallen soldier and keep her name alive."
