Silver City – Two teenagers surrendered to Silver City police in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred near Silver High School Aug. 28.
The pair are identified as 18-year-old Jeremy Reed and 17-year-old Gabriel Dominguez.
Reed and Dominguez were taken into custody and transported to the Grant County Detention Center.
Police say Reed is being held on a $10,000 bond and Dominguez is being held in the juvenile section of the facility.
Both are being charged with shooting at or from a motor vehicle and six counts of criminal damage to property.
The incident occurred the night of Aug. 28 near the Silver High School football field, during a game between Silver and Cobre high schools.
No one was injured in the shootings, but several cars were damaged by what police said were shotgun pellets.
