Las Cruces – On Saturday, May 23, at 1:30pm, the Fountain Theatre in Mesilla will hold a benefit for the Honor Flight program. The program hopes to charter a plane later this year to take local veterans to see the World War II Memorial in Washington DC. The benefit will include screenings of "Soldiers of Honor", about the first local Honor Flight in October, 2008, and the documentary "The Conscientious Objector". Fred Martino spoke with the Mesilla Valley Film Society's PJ Waggaman about the event.
