These broadcasts give students in grades K-5 the chance to resume lessons in key topics.
During school closures, the lessons were presented on KRWG-TV and the state's other public television stations: KNME in Albuquerque and KENW in Portales.
K-5 Schedule of Classes (when "remote learning only" was in effect)
Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays
- 8 a.m.: Grades K-1 Fundamentals/English Language Arts Writing
- 9 a.m.: English Language Development Bilingual
- 10 a.m.: Grades 2-3 English
- 11 a.m.: Grades 4-5 English
Tuesdays and Thursdays
- 8 a.m.: Grades K-1 Math/Science
- 9 a.m.: English Language Development Bilingual
- 10 a.m.: grades 2-3 Math/Science
- 11a.m.: Grades 4-5 Math/Science
The daily lesson plans were broadcast each day, and then made available for individual “on-demand lessons.” These supplemental learning videos feature APS educators in short segments, supporting a variety of subjects and grade levels, including English language arts, math, visual and performing arts, physical education, and more.
These segments also include a Sign interpreter in the lower left portion of the screen, making them accessible to the hearing impaired. Bilingual lessons are also available.

Programming for Grades 6-12
We are also providing special educational programming for grades 6-12 every weekday from 10am to 3pm on KRWG-TV Broadcast Channel 22.2, the World network. And 24/7 children's programming is available on KRWG-TV Broadcast Channel 22.3, PBS Kids.
