The NMSU Library, in conjunction with the NMSU Horticulture Forum, will host a free seed swap event on Saturday, February 8th from 10am to 1pm at Zuhl Library (2911 McFie Cr.). The event encourages sharing seeds, stories, and information and will feature student and community groups involved with plants, seeds, and gardening. This event is an excellent opportunity to exchange seeds in preparation for Spring planting and community and student groups will be on hand to share their expertise to those new to planting and growing in Southern New Mexico.

The event is open to the public and all student, faculty, staff, and Las Cruces community members are welcome. Attendees who are bringing seed should make sure it is viable, clean, pest-free, and clearly labeled. Attendees are also encouraged to bring pencils or pens and envelopes or other containers for seed they are taking home.
