NMSU Department of Astronomy & FYI+ Solar Eclipse Watch Party
Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+) is teaming up with the NMSU Department of Astronomy to present a Solar Eclipse Watch Party on Monday, April 8th at Sisbarro Park at NMSU from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is invited to observe the eclipse with solar telescopes and will receive eclipse viewing glasses. There will be arts and crafts and snacks, as well. Peak time for viewing the eclipse will be approximately 12 noon.
