Academy for Learning in Retirement - Presentation by Dr. Joe Burchett, NMSU Department of Astronomy
The great astronomical observatories have answered very important questions about the universe and have made unexpected discoveries. These discoveries have raised more key questions. This series will explore the great observatories and what we have learned through their use. The third of four Zoom presentations in February will be given by Dr. Joe Burchett, assistant professor in NMSU’s Department of Astronomy. His presentation on February 13 will discuss “The Highly Energetic X-Ray Universe.”
Audience members may register for the Academy for Learning in Retirement’s February Zoom sessions or for all of the ALR Spring Zoom presentations at https://dacc.nmsu.edu/academics/programs/academy-learning-in-retirement/.
