El Paso Electric will conduct a planned power outage from 2 – 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, to place new equipment into service.
Major areas affected will be north Main Street from east Picacho Avenue to Three Crosses Avenue, north Alameda Boulevard from east Picacho to Three Crosses, and along Doña Ana Road from Three Crosses to Dalrymple Road. The outage will also impact the area from Hoagland Road at Alameda, west to north Valley Drive back to Picacho.
Traffic signals will be affected at the following intersections; east Picacho Avenue at north Alameda Boulevard; north Alameda at west Madrid Avenue; and north Alameda at Three Crosses.
