Recently, wildlife advocates filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for what they feel is its failure to adopt an adequate management rule for recovering the endangered population of the Mexican gray wolves. A revised recovery plan has since been released, but defenders of wildlife are still skeptical. Scott Brocato spoke with Chris Smith, southwest wildlife advocate with WildEarth Guardians, about the issue.
