Las Cruces, NM – While many New Mexicans will be preparing a feast for Thanksgiving dinner many residents will not have the financial resources to do so. According to a recent study by U.S. Department of Agriculture, New Mexico ranks second in the nation for food insecurity and hunger. As KRWG's Jessica Borchert reports, a Las Cruces charity El Caldito Soup Kitchen is working to ensure that every Las Crucen can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal in a welcoming, family environment.
