August 16, 2014 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with State of New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD) Cabinet Secretary, Gino Rinaldi, serving more than 200,000 New Mexicans every year. He has been with the department since January 2013 and is experienced in the field of long-term care and social services.
In 2004 State Representative J. Paul Taylor started ALTSD to meet the complex social, medical and behavioral needs of New Mexico’s older adults and adults with disabilities. ALTSD is the designated state agency for the protection of adults who are victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
