Public Meeting To Address Bond-Funded Project At Las Cruces Area Animal Shelter

The City of Las Cruces invites residents to participate at the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley (ASCMV) General Obligation (GO) Bond Project update meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at City Hall, 700 N. Main St., conference rooms 2007 B and C. ASA Architects will present the current design draft for the new center and outline next steps for the ASCMV project.

The GO Bond project, which was approved by voters in a special mail-ballot election in July/August 2018, creates a new stray animal and adoption center along with administration offices that will supplement the current animal shelter located at 3551 Bataan Memorial West.
