OYE!-Listen! A 30 Hour "Eco Festival of Awareness" in Downtown Las Cruces

OYE! Celebrating Visions for the Future.

  October 2, 2015 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, bridges to the community, Emily Guerra meets with “Oye! Celebrating Visions for the Future,” committee members and founders, Brandi Lozada-Johnston and Margaret Bernstein, bringing awareness of our environment.

"Oye" is a “30 hour Eco Festival" to bring awareness of innovative ideas that promote the preservation of our planet, and to inspire Eco-city living in Las Cruces. Seven blocks of downtown Las Cruces will be part of the festival starting Saturday, October 10th at 1 p.m. through Sunday, October 11th at 8 p.m. The event is free to the public. Families, participants and visitors are invited to camp out overnight on Main Street. There will be artists, scientists, performers, and thinkers of all kinds to present their work and ideas in traditional and experimental forms.
