Las Cruces Residents Invited to Provide Input for Soccer Field Improvements

The City of Las Cruces is hosting a virtual input meeting to discuss options for improvements to city soccer fields using recently appropriated state legislative funds of $856,000. The facilitated meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 1.

“We value positive community input, and this is a great opportunity for members of the public, and especially people involved with soccer activities, to engage with the City to discuss the needs for the fields,” said Jamey Rickman, the City’s community engagement manager. “Despite the restrictions of the current pandemic, we’re excited to provide this virtual meeting for the public. This is the first in a series of meetings on this topic.” Rickman added.Attendees will need to register as a Zoom user for free. Once registered as a zoom user, then attendees will need to access a separate link to join the meeting.
