Las Cruces Police Seek Tips On Who Injured Man Now In Critical Condition In El Paso Hospital

Police are asking for the public’s help in determining how a 44-year-old man was severely injured Wednesday evening.

About 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, a passerby called 911 after seeing a man on the roadway near the 200 block of west Madrid Avenue near Alameda Boulevard. Las Cruces police and fire responded to find the man unresponsive and suffering from severe trauma to his head.

The 44-year-old man was identified as Tom Henry Croy. He was initially transported to a local hospital and then to University Medical Center of El Paso where he remains hospitalized in critical condition Thursday evening.

Anyone with information on where Tom Henry Croy may have been on Wednesday, or who he may have been with, is asked to call Las Cruces police immediately at (575) 526-0795.
