Villa will be presenting at the 39th Annual Conference of the Linguistics Association of the Southwest - LASSO, scheduled for October 7, 8 & 9 in Las Cruces, with the theme, "Celebrating Linguistic Diversity in the United States." The focus is "Spanish for Heritage Speakers," and "Spanish West of the Mississippi."
