A 65-year-old man struck by a vehicle early Sunday evening has died at an El Paso hospital.
Julian Holguin died Wednesday at University Medical Center of El Paso.
The crash occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, on Utah Avenue near El Paseo Road. Las Cruces police learned the driver of a white Toyota 4-Runner was traveling west on Utah and nearing the intersection of El Paseo Road when the vehicle struck Holguin.
The 38-year-old driver of the 4-Runner and at least one witness, the driver of another vehicle, stopped and remained on scene.
Holguin was unconscious when he was transported to Mountainview Regional Medical Center. He was subsequently transported to University Medical Center of El Paso.
