Cheyenne Black is scheduled to graduate from Mayfield High School in 2021.
Cheyenne has put in countless hours with her Enlace class (Engaging Latino Communities for Education). She is very active with church community projects and has volunteered for the Prom for disabled children. She has always been drawn to people in need. When she was in 4th grade, she befriended a classmate who had disabilities and helped her to become more social and communicate in a tone where she could be heard.
Cheyenne has a diverse life outside of school. She attends the Chi Alpha meetings at New Mexico State University. She is a super truck racer at the Vado Speedway. And she also enjoys camping, all animals (except frogs), hiking, photography, and most importantly, spending time with her friends and family.
