Feb. 10 marks 33 years since four children and three adults were targeted in a mass shooting at a Las Cruces bowling alley.

Las Cruces Police are investigating a serious crash that has forced the temporary closure of a portion of Bataan Memorial East near Mesa Grande Boulevard. Following the crash on Bataan Memorial East, two more crashes were reported on Highway 70 east near Mesa Grande.

A card skimming device can be used to capture information from the debit or credit card that is inserted or swiped.

The area is under a flood watch through Saturday.

Investigators believe Alfred Marquez, 34, is responsible for the shooting.

The suspect stole more than two dozen firearms including rifles, shotguns and revolvers.

The incident began with a call about an armed robbery at Lowe's on North Main and ended with the shooting on South Telshor.
