La Sociedad Para Las Artes at New Mexico State University (NMSU) kindly invites you to an afternoon of fiction featuring short story writer Ashley Wurzbacher at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021. Wurzbacher’s debut short story collection, "Happy Like This," won the 2019 Iowa Short Fiction Award and was a New York Times Editors’ Choice. She was also named a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 honoree. She currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama and teaches creative writing at the University of Montevallo.
