Lawsuit says VA isn't doing enough to address racial disparities in veterans' benefits
A federal lawsuit alleges the Department of Veterans Affairs has a long history of racial bias in its benefits and claims decisions. The agency acknowledges that Black veterans traditionally have been less likely to qualify for benefits.
