ATF Agents Seize Guns, Pipe Bomb and Drugs in Storefront Sting

Las Cruces, NM – Representatives from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, or ATF--along with several other law enforcement officials announced the details of a 9 month sting operation today in Las Cruces. The storefront operation led to the seizure of 34 guns, one pipe bomb, illegal drugs, and the arrests of 32 defendants. KRWG's Evan Woodward has the details.

Napolitano Announces Border Czar in El Paso

Las Cruces, NM – Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano discussed plans to quell cartel violence along the US/ Mexico border during a visit to El Paso, Texas Wednesday. Las Cruces Forums Tackle International Relations

Las Cruces, NM – Forums are being held this week in Las Cruces dealing with America's role in the world. Friday, an event will be held at KRWG-TV; it is scheduled to be telecast next month. On Wednesday, the public is invited to attend a forum at St. Genevieve's Church at 100 S. Espina from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Fund for Peace in Washington D.C. is sponsoring the events.
