"What We Love" - The Border Artists Benefit Art Show

Tauna Cole painting.

Las Cruces, NM – On this edition of PUENTES a la comunidad, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra met with The Border Artists’ President, Tauna Cole-Dorn to talk to us about “What We Love,” a benefit art show. A portion of proceeds from art sold at the show will help KRWG Public Media. The title of the show reflects each artist’s choice of what they are currently making in the studio or a favorite piece from the past. The Border Artists are 20 artists working in the Southwest.

The art exhibit “What We Love” is on display through November 3rd at The Cutter Gallery, 2640 El Paseo Rd., Las Cruces, NM (at the corner of El Paseo Blvd. and University Avenue.) Members of the Border Artists will present art dialogues starting at 11 a.m. at the Cutter Gallery on three Saturdays beginning October 20th, with presenters: Tauna Cole, Emmitt Booher, and Sharbani Das Gupta; on October 27th: Cassandra Lockwood, Suzanne Kane, Jeanne Rundell and Amanda Jaffe; and on November 3rd: Winfrey Hearst, Rosemary McLoughlin, Storm Sermay and Jo-an Smith.
