Las Cruces, NM – Many borderland residents, young and old, are afflicted with diabetes, a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin. In New Mexico alone, over sixteen-hundred children are diabetic. While a cure may be many years away, some are taking action to speed up the process. KRWG's Michael Sears has the story.
