Unemployment Down in New Mexico

Las Cruces, NM – The unemployment rate in New Mexico hit a historic low last month at three point two percent; the national average is about one and a half percent higher. As KRWG's Marco Grajeda reports, officials at the State's Department of Workforce Solutions, formerly the Department of Labor, say Southern New Mexico in general is benefiting from the downward trend.
