Spaceport Educational Committee has First Meeting

Las Cruces, NM – Last Friday the newly formed Dona Ana County Spaceport Educational Advisory Committee convened for the first time. The group is planning how to use a portion of the Spaceport gross receipts tax for public education throughout the county. As KRWG's Nazca Warren reports, committee members hope to use the funds to enhance math and science programs and encourage local students to pursue aerospace careers.
