New Flood Maps Could Prove Expensive for County Residents

Las Cruces, NM – The Federal Emergency Management Agency recently updated its flood hazard maps for Dona Ana County, significantly increasing the number of county residents who will be required to pay for flood insurance. As KRWG's Marco Grajeda reports, some local leaders are up in arms and are asking the federal agency for more time.
