IBWC Plans Levee Repairs in Dona Ana County

Las Cruces, NM – The United States section of the International Boundary and Water Commission met Thursday in El Paso, Texas to discuss plans to improve Dona Ana County's levee system. If the levees are improved residents living along the Federal Emergency Management Agency's revised floodplain maps could save money on flood insurance. As KRWG's Marco Grajeda reports, the levee project's head engineer says what the commission needs now is funding.
