Critics of Death Penalty in NM Move One Step Closer

Las Cruces, NM – Opponents of the death penalty in New Mexico are optimistic that their lengthy battle to ban executions in the state will come to an end this year. The death penalty is allowed under state law although, no one has been executed in New Mexico in nearly fifty years. KRWG's Marco Grajeda has this report.
